GuideEquipment setup guide

A guide to equipment progression after level 100 and deciding when your options are good enough.

Recommended after level 100
1Rank drives elite equipment strength

For the 7 elite-monster equipment types other than Zakum Helmet, increasing equipment rank matters much more than character or item level. The differences become especially large across Legendary → Legendary+ → Mystic → Mystic+ .

2Prepare elite farming before the mid-to-late game

Starting elite equipment progression late can delay higher ranks and weaken later growth. If rapid progression is your goal, this guide recommends investing early in Elite Summoning Packages and Quick Hunt Tickets to advance your farming stage.

3Party Quest and raid accessories provide an early boost

Party Quest and raid equipment, such as rings, necklaces, and face accessories, generally starts with high base performance around Legendary+ level and can provide a substantial upgrade.

When to stop rolling
5 core options
4th Job Skill Lv. Critical Rate Critical Damage Normal Monster Damage Boss Monster Damage
4Get strong options, then return to hunting

With high Critical Rate needed in the current setting, this guide recommends getting near-final options promptly and returning to leveling and huntinginstead of waiting indefinitely for perfect Party Quest drops. Spending too long in Party Quests can slow overall progression.

5Aim for 3–4 useful core options

Rather than forcing the same options onto every item, aim for 3–4 core options that your current setup needsas a practical stopping point.

Slot-specific priorities

Ring 1 · the priority combination

4th Job Skill Lv. + Min Damage Multiplier + Max Damage Multiplieris the priority. Ring 1’s option pool offers little that can replace these three in a final setup.

Face Accessory · prioritize Min/Max Damage Multiplier

Min Damage Multiplier + Max Damage Multiplier should form the core, followed by other useful options. These multipliers are valuable because only a few equipment slots can provide them.

Keep in mind
Common misconceptions
Chaos Zakum Helmet’s strength does not come from exceptionally large suboptions.

Its suboption values are relatively modest. Much of its strength comes from Star Force amplification of All Skill Levels. Therefore, prioritize Star Force enhancementinstead of focusing too heavily on one or two suboptions.

4th Job Skill Lv. is valuable beyond Ring 1.

Ring 1 provides especially high 4th Job Skill Lv., but the same option on other accessories is also valuable. Even ordinary accessories can provide values comparable to Legendary+ elite-monster equipment. When this option is available, consider it a core option to keep.

Progression checklist
Recommended order: Raise elite equipment rank first. Get strong Party Quest and raid accessories, then return to hunting. Aim for 3–4 useful slot-specific and general options, with Min/Max Damage Multiplier taking priority on Ring 1 and Face Accessory.
